Profession

My profession is to work as physicist. I made by diploma and my PHD at the university of Kassel in Germany in the group of Prof. Frank Träger. The topic of work was mostly metal clusters and their optical and electronical properties. After finishing, I joined the cluster group of Prof. Peter Lievens in Leuven, Belgium. Here my work was about much smaller nanostructures, the so-called clusters. After that I decided to change from university to industry and I am now working on the development of scanning electron microscopes at Carl Zeiss NTS GmbH (www.smt.zeiss.com/nts) in Oberkochen, Germany.
